Founded in 2017 by Peter Swain, the company evolved from a restoration business into a producer of brand-new vehicles, ensuring modern safety and performance while maintaining the nostalgic charm of models like the MGB and MGB GT. Headquartered in Lichfield, England, RBW is expanding its operations with a new facility in Danville, Virginia, set to open in February 2026. The company specializes in custom electric vehicle manufacturing, offering bespoke designs tailored to customer preferences. Its flagship models include the RBW Roadster EV and the RBW GT EV, both featuring modern electric technology and classic aesthetics. RBW also operates a supplier division, Spirit EV, which provides electric systems and components to other manufacturers. With a focus on limited production and exclusivity, RBW aims to produce 300 branded electric vehicles annually while supplying up to 3,000 electric systems to the market.
