What we promise
Every figure is something we observed in a named source and dated. Where our record is incomplete, the page says so rather than implying the thing did not happen, and our measured coverage is published on the methodology page.
No one can pay to have an observed record altered.
What we do not promise
That the data is complete or error-free. We catch roughly half the rounds our sources report, those sources make mistakes, and automated reading adds its own. This is research material, not advice of any kind: financial, investment, legal or otherwise. Check anything that a decision depends on, and tell us when we are wrong.
The site is provided as it is, without warranty, and we are not liable for what follows from relying on it. Nothing here is an offer or solicitation of any investment.
Using the data
Quote and cite freely with a link. Do not scrape the site wholesale or republish the database as your own. The work is in the verification, and it is what the subscription pays for. Automated access that degrades the site for other readers may be blocked.
Contact details are provided to customers on a paid plan, in an export of a list of people they chose, for business outreach about investment: raising money, offering an investment, or a genuine professional enquiry. You may not use them for anything else, put them in a list for sale, give them to anyone outside your organisation, or republish them.
You are responsible for following the law that applies to your messages, including the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, the CAN-SPAM Act and their equivalents where you write. Stop contacting anyone who asks you to. We may suspend access, without a refund, for use that breaks these terms or draws complaints.
Contacts are paid for in export credits: an email is included in its row's credit; a phone number makes the row 3 credits, or 3 more than the row when emails are included too, and is charged only when one is served. Contacts are checked when you confirm the export; where a check gives no result, we serve the contact we hold. A row for which we have no contact to serve is left out of the file and costs nothing. A check tests that a contact is deliverable at that moment; it does not promise that a message will arrive, be read or be answered. Exports on the Free plan never include contacts. You can download a paid export again for as long as your subscription is active.
Plans, payments and refunds
The Free plan is the trial; there is no separate one. Pro and Max are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, through Stripe. Prices are shown before tax, and VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. A business with a valid VAT number is not charged VAT on the reverse-charge basis.
You can cancel at any time from your account. You keep access to the end of the period you have paid for, and there are no refunds for part of a month. A yearly plan is refunded in full if you cancel within 14 days of paying and have used none of its export credits. Pro and Max can add credits to the plan every month; they are billed with the plan, in advance, arrive with the monthly credits and can be changed at any time. Extra credits are not refunded once used, and unused monthly credits do not roll over. Extra credits you bought are kept if your plan ends and come back if you subscribe again.
Access starts as soon as you pay, at your request, which you confirm at checkout. If you are a consumer and the law where you live gives you a right to cancel within 14 days, that right still applies: we refund the payment less a fair share for the time you had access. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Corrections and removals are free, need no account, and are not conditional on subscribing or claiming anything. This is deliberate: a route to accuracy that costs money is not a route to accuracy.
