This site publishes information about organisations. Where information about a person is unavoidable — an angel investor's name in a funding announcement — it is treated as personal data and the rights below apply to it.
Organisation records: name, website, country, type, what the firm states about its own investing, and the rounds we observed it in. Round records: the company, stage, amount, date and the investors a published article named, with a link to that article.
It contains no contact data. No email addresses, no phone numbers, no individual employees. We hold contact data in private working files that came with purchased lists; it is never published, never sold, and is not part of the product.
Three sources, and each record can be traced to one: funding announcements in the trade press, which name investors publicly; the firms' own websites, which we fetch and read; and commercial or third-party lists, which we treat as leads to be verified rather than facts to be republished.
Our basis for publishing is legitimate interest in an accurate public record of investment activity, which is information the investors themselves announced. If you disagree that this applies to you, the removal route below is unconditional and you do not need to argue the point.
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be removed. Use the corrections page or email [email protected]. No account is needed and there is no charge. We aim to reply within a few days and to act within thirty.
A removal takes the record off the public site. It does not require us to forget that a publicly announced funding round happened, and we may keep a minimal note that a removal was requested so the record is not rebuilt by the next day's pipeline.
Server logs, kept briefly for security and to keep the site up. If you send a correction we store what you wrote, the address you gave us if you gave one, and a one-way hash of your IP address — the address itself is never stored — so that we can spot a flood of automated submissions.
No advertising trackers, no analytics that follow you elsewhere, no cookies for measurement. Cloudflare serves the site and processes requests on our behalf.
