The company developed a multilingual audiobook subscription service aimed at enhancing reading and language skills for children, particularly in educational settings like pre-schools and schools. Ugglo combines picture books with high-quality audio narrations and sound effects to create an engaging reading experience for kids. Operating on a B2B SaaS model, Ugglo collaborates with major Swedish publishing houses and a global network of narrators to produce content in Swedish and over 30 other languages. This approach supports multilingual learners and helps maintain cultural identity. Ugglo has served thousands of children daily in Swedish schools, improving their reading fluency and language acquisition. In 2021, Ugglo was acquired by ILT Education, integrating its technology and content into ILT's offerings, further expanding its reach in the educational sector.
