Transpolis

Transpolis is a French test center and innovation platform located in Saint-Maurice-de-Rémens, near Lyon.

It focuses on safe and sustainable vehicles, infrastructures, and urban mobility. Established in 2011, Transpolis serves as a world-class center for testing and validation in the automotive and mobility sectors. The company specializes in various testing services, including crash tests, vehicle testing, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) testing, autonomous vehicle testing, and road equipment testing. These services are conducted in both virtual and real conditions. Transpolis also functions as a smart city laboratory, providing a large experimental site for testing transport systems, connected mobility, and related technologies. With a site of approximately 80 hectares, Transpolis features modular zones and realistic urban settings for mobility experimentation. It collaborates with international industrial players and strategic partners in the mobility innovation space, including notable organizations like Renault Trucks and Bouygues.
