Founded in September 2021 by Apurwa Masook, Sudarshan Samal, and Rounak Agrawal, the company is incubated at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and leverages the founders' extensive rocketry expertise. SpaceFields operates as a B2B and B2G entity, providing end-to-end engineering solutions for the aerospace and defense sectors. The company specializes in custom design and development of solid rocket propulsion systems, turnkey manufacturing, and rigorous testing at its facility in Challakere, Karnataka. SpaceFields has developed a range of products, including solid rocket motors for UAVs and tactical missiles, as well as innovative technologies like India's first aerospike rocket engine and ADN-based green propellant. It serves various clients, including government defense agencies and commercial space operators, contributing to India's national security and space initiatives.
