The company serves as the exclusive technology provider for M-BIRR, Ethiopia’s first and largest mobile money service, which launched in September 2015. MOSS ICT focuses on delivering end-to-end technology solutions for mobile banking, primarily targeting Ethiopian financial institutions. The M-BIRR platform enables users to perform various financial transactions, including money transfers, mobile top-ups, bill payments, and purchases. It has facilitated over ETB 20 billion in transactions and serves over 1.5 million customers. MOSS ICT also provides customer support, marketing services, network management, and development of financial services accounting engines and applications.
