Keymetrics, now integrated into PM2 Plus and PM2 Enterprise, was developed to provide a user-friendly monitoring tool for Node.js applications.

Launched shortly after the PM2 process manager, it quickly gained traction, serving over 1000 customers and monitoring more than 18,000 applications by 2018. PM2 itself has achieved significant milestones, including over 100 million downloads by 2025. The PM2 ecosystem includes several key offerings. PM2 Runtime is an open-source process manager that ensures applications remain operational and can reload without downtime. PM2 Plus offers a real-time web monitoring interface with features like issue tracking, deployment reporting, and custom metrics monitoring. PM2 Enterprise caters to large-scale services, providing premium support and expert consulting. Together, these tools enhance the deployment, management, and monitoring of Node.js applications in production environments.
