It specializes in enabling homeowners to access their home equity through a partial property sale, allowing them to receive cash without incurring debt or selling their entire home. The company focuses on providing financial independence to property owners, particularly seniors aged 60 and above, who may be asset-rich but cash-poor. Heimkapital's primary service is Real Estate Equity Release, where it purchases up to 50% of a client's property, offering an immediate cash payout while allowing the homeowner to retain residency. The property value is assessed by an independent appraiser. Clients have the option to repurchase the sold share, sell the entire property later, or pass it on to heirs. The company also offers additional products, including a heritage lease right solution called "Grundkapital" and a digital broker platform named "HeimMakler." Heimkapital successfully raised €300 million in its Series A financing round in September 2022 to support its growth.
