FarmDroid ApS is a Danish agtech company based in Vejen, Syddanmark, specializing in innovative agricultural solutions.

Founded in 2018 by brothers Jens and Kristian Warming, along with partners from Syddansk Innovation A/S and robot expert Esben Østergaard, the company has developed the FarmDroid FD20, the world’s first fully automatic, solar-powered agricultural robot. This robot is designed for precision sowing and mechanical weeding, operating autonomously without human supervision. The FarmDroid FD20 utilizes high-precision GPS technology to accurately plant seeds and perform weeding without harming crops, eliminating the need for chemical herbicides. The robot is eco-friendly, running entirely on solar power, which aligns with the company's mission to reduce manual labor costs, fuel consumption, and pesticide use. With over 500 units sold in more than 20 countries, FarmDroid is expanding its reach globally, targeting farmers, plant growers, and agricultural businesses looking for sustainable and cost-effective farming solutions.
