Explora Project

Explora Project is a French adventure travel agency based in Annecy, founded in 2018 by Alix and Stanislas Gruau.

The company is dedicated to responsible outdoor tourism and became the first French travel agency to achieve "entreprise à mission" status in November 2020. Its mission focuses on creating positive-impact travel experiences for both people and the environment. The agency offers a variety of adventure programs tailored to different sports levels, ranging from 2 to 8 days. Their offerings include high-performance expeditions, wellness-focused adventures, family trips, and cultural immersion experiences. Explora Project emphasizes low-carbon travel by prioritizing train journeys and self-guided autonomy in many of its itineraries. The company also utilizes an internal platform, Explora Hub, to streamline logistical tasks for its operations. With a team of around 30 employees and 200 guide-explorers, Explora Project aims to make adventure travel accessible to a broad audience across France and Europe.
