Escola do Mecânico

Escola do Mecânico is a leading edtech focused on social impact and the largest network for vocational training in automotive mechanics in Brazil.

Founded in 2011 by Sandra Helena Nalli, the institution aims to address the shortage of skilled labor in the automotive sector. It has trained over 100,000 professionals and operates between 37 to 50 units across nine Brazilian states, including São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul. The school offers practical and technical courses designed to enhance employability, covering areas such as automotive mechanics, refrigeration, motorcycle mechanics, diesel engines, electronic injection, bodywork, and forklift operation. It also features a program called "Vivendo de Mecânica," which promotes inclusion for individuals of all ages. Escola do Mecânico targets a diverse audience, including young apprentices and individuals from vulnerable social backgrounds, providing scholarships through the Instituto Escola do Mecânico. The institution's mission is to deliver high-quality technical education, preparing students for the automotive market and ensuring their employability.
