Coho Data was a software-defined storage and rack-scale converged infrastructure company founded in 2011 and based in Santa Clara, California.

The company focused on bringing public-cloud-like efficiency and flexibility to on-premise enterprise data centers. Its main product was the Coho DataStream platform, a scale-out storage solution designed for virtual private clouds, containers, and other modern IT workloads. The DataStream platform featured a flash-tuned architecture that included a DataStream Chassis and MicroArray modules, combining SSDs, disk drives, and dedicated controllers. This setup aimed to simplify management and enhance performance, with claims of significant reductions in total cost of ownership.
