BOOKBRIDGE

BOOKBRIDGE is a tax-exempt foundation based in Basel, Switzerland, established in 2010.

The organization focuses on "action learning with impact," providing programs that help develop social entrepreneurs, professionals, and impact investors. Participants engage in hands-on learning by creating and managing real-world social ventures that address various social, economic, and environmental challenges. The foundation's core offering is the Action Learning with Impact program, which includes intensive capability programs where participants co-create social enterprises. Since its inception, BOOKBRIDGE has supported the creation of 48 tangible social enterprises, such as Dreamspace in Sri Lanka and Kimsorn's Community Hub in Cambodia. Additionally, the foundation provides interest-free loans to these enterprises to foster their growth. Through its initiatives, BOOKBRIDGE has trained over 40 social entrepreneurs and developed 490 professionals in business and leadership skills.
