ACTing is a European project focusing on Social Agents Promoting Active Ageing through Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).

Financed by the European Commission (National Spanish Agency for the Lifelong Learning Programme). It is being implemented by a consortium of organizations based in Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Romania. ACTing aims to transfer a teaching methodology to social agents working in the fields of active ageing and digital inclusion. It introduces an innovative methodology that strengthens the agents capacities, skills and attitudes when working with senior citizens through ICT. ACTing is not simply about teaching senior citizens how to use ICTs, but rather introduces them as creative and community building tools through which they can develop their hobbies and advance their interests. Singular Initiatives are ACTing's unique concept, they encompass the materialization of its innovative learning method.
