Regarding Her

Regarding Her is a national nonprofit organization founded in 2020 by nine female entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry.

It was established to address the challenges faced by women-owned businesses, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting as a takeout food festival in Los Angeles, the organization has grown into a network of over 1,000 members across the U.S., with a strong presence in cities like Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Its mission is to enhance the growth and economic mobility of women entrepreneurs in the food and beverage sector by promoting equity, inclusivity, and sustainability. The organization offers various support services, including grants, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities. It has distributed over $350,000 in grants to women restaurateurs and hosts events that highlight women-owned businesses, especially during Women's History Month. The Regarding Her Academy provides training and resources for women entrepreneurs, while advocacy efforts aim to increase visibility for women-led innovation in the industry.
