Netsil

Netsil was a software company based in San Francisco, founded around 2012.

It specialized in application observability, discovery, and operations management for modern distributed cloud environments, particularly focusing on microservices and multi-cloud setups. In March 2018, Netsil was acquired by Nutanix, which integrated its technology into its Enterprise Cloud OS. Netsil developed the Netsil Application Operations Center, a cloud-based service that provided auto-discovered maps and analytics for monitoring cloud applications. Its non-invasive observability technology allowed for complete visibility into applications and services without requiring code changes. The platform supported operations management across multiple cloud environments, enabling DevOps and IT teams to maintain uptime, software quality, and service level objectives at scale.
