Forager is a digital procurement platform that connects local farmers, producers, and food suppliers with grocers, restaurants, co-ops, and other institutional buyers.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Portland, Maine, Forager aims to enhance the local food economy and increase access to locally sourced food. The company was acquired by Local Line in June 2023. The platform digitizes and streamlines the procurement-to-payment process, offering features such as route optimization, real-time inventory management, order management, and billing mechanisms. Forager serves a diverse range of customers, including grocers, food co-ops, restaurants, and local food producers. The platform supports approximately 75,000 local products from around 250 suppliers and has seen significant growth, approaching $100,000 in weekly transaction volume.
