The deck, and the round we watched Publishizer raise afterwards, with the investors each report named.

Publishizer is a book crowdfunding platform and literary agency that assists authors in raising pre-orders for unpublished books and connecting with publishers. Founded in 2015 and based in Amsterdam, it combines crowdfunding with literary agency services to enhance the publishing process. Authors pitch their book ideas, and readers can pre-order copies, allowing publishers to evaluate campaign performance and potentially reach out to authors. The platform offers various services, including book crowdfunding campaigns, matching authors with publishers, negotiating publishing deals, and selling subsidiary rights like foreign and audiobook rights. It also provides resources for building book proposals and marketing campaigns. With a focus on data-driven insights, Publishizer helps surface quality proposals to publishers, facilitating opportunities for authors in the publishing industry.
