[How we decide](https://millionrounds.com/methodology) ## About YouBeRu For the first time ever you can run side by side with your athlete at marathons - YouBeRu is a new way of following athletes by using smartphones. Description When a marathon athlete starts training for his big race it requires blood, sweat and tears. The athlete spends many thousands of hours on exercise, nutrition and recovery. In addition to this comes planning each and every workout; focusing constantly on hitting the perfect performance. It is not only the athlete who spends all his spare time on the goal of a marathon victory. Each time the athlete has a training session, the family is on the sideline with their support. Often it’s the partner who needs to say no to own interests and take care of home duties. It takes a lot from the family to go through an extreme distance run - the athlete can only succeed with the full support from family and friends. All this will peak at the big finale, race day, where all the hard work will be pushed to the limit. The day itself is not only tough for the athlete, but also extremely nerve-wracking for the family. The family is constantly unaware of how their athlete is performing and whether he accomplishes or not. When everything is going wrong and the athlete has no energy left, he knows that the only thing that makes him move his feet is the family just around the corner! Therefore is the essence of extreme race that the family is in the right places - both for themselves and their “star". With YouBeRu is it possible for the first time ever to run side by side with the athlete trough a whole race. The spectator can now see every move the athlete is making, right on a smartphone App with a dynamic map and live updates. ## Computers and Electronics Manufacturing in Denmark Startups like it - [**Boynq** Nibe · founded 2012](https://millionrounds.com/startup/boynq) - [**Victory Electronic Cigarettes - Europe** Copenhagen · founded 2012](https://millionrounds.com/startup/victory-electronic-cigarettes-europe) - [**Huginn&Muninn Ltd.** Copenhagen K · founded 2015](https://millionrounds.com/startup/huginn-muninn-ltd) - [**Elekcig** Aalborg · founded 2013](https://millionrounds.com/startup/elekcig) - [**Lyd by Dissing ApS** Vanløse · founded 2014](https://millionrounds.com/startup/lyd-by-dissing-aps) - [**Recycleit Danmark** founded 2013](https://millionrounds.com/startup/recycleit-danmark) - [**CookPerfect** Støvring · founded 2016](https://millionrounds.com/startup/cookperfect) ## Is this your company?
