## About SuperGround

SuperGround is a Finnish food technology company based in Helsinki, established in 2021.

The company specializes in patented processing technology that transforms undervalued side streams from fish and chicken, such as bones and hard tissues, into sustainable and high-quality food ingredients. SuperGround operates as a B2B industrial partner, licensing its technology to ingredient providers and food companies to enhance efficiency and sustainability in food production. The core service of SuperGround is a scalable food processing solution that converts bones and hard tissues into a nutritious, sterile paste without the use of chemicals. This innovative process allows producers to extract up to 60% more food from fish, significantly reducing waste and emissions. The resulting paste is rich in calcium, collagen, and vitamins, and is used in various processed foods like fish balls, nuggets, and sausages. SuperGround is focused on serving global food production companies, particularly in the seafood and poultry industries, and aims to expand its presence in European markets while reaching industrial scale by 2025.
