## About Stayzilla

Stayzilla was an Indian online accommodation marketplace founded in 2005 and based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The company specialized in connecting travelers with a variety of short-term stays across India, including hotels, homestays, guesthouses, lodges, and serviced apartments. It provided an online booking platform that allowed property owners to list their spaces and enabled travelers to search and reserve accommodations, particularly in tier-II cities and smaller towns. The platform offered a diverse range of options, from budget-friendly rooms to luxury stays, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Stayzilla emphasized alternative stays and value-stays, with a wide inventory that included over 20,000 properties. The company also supported property owners and hotel partners by providing a marketplace for advertising their accommodations, helping them reach a broader audience without extensive marketing efforts.
