## About SolarMente

SolarMente is a Spanish cleantech start-up founded in 2020 by Wouter Draijer and Victor Gardrinier.

The company aims to make solar energy accessible and cost-effective for homeowners in Spain. With significant backing, including a €50 million investment from notable investors like YCombinator and Leonardo DiCaprio, SolarMente has quickly established itself as a leader in the energy sector. The company recently acquired Eltex, enhancing its position in the market. SolarMente operates on a subscription model for photovoltaic self-consumption, allowing customers to install solar systems without upfront costs. Their offerings include solar photovoltaic systems, energy storage batteries, EV charging points, and heat pump systems. The company also provides comprehensive services such as engineering, installation, maintenance, and 24/7 monitoring. With a goal to install solar panels on 50,000 homes in five years, SolarMente is set to expand its operations beyond Spain into Europe, Latin America, and Africa, promoting sustainability and energy autonomy for its customers.
