## About RECUP

RECUP, operating as reCup GmbH, is Germany's largest reusable packaging system for the food service industry.

Founded in September 2016 in Munich, the company provides a nationwide deposit-based network for renting and returning reusable coffee-to-go cups (RECUP) and takeaway bowls (REBOWL). With around 21,000 distribution and return points across the country, including cafés, restaurants, and gas stations, RECUP aims to eliminate single-use packaging. The company offers a circular deposit system where customers pay a small deposit to borrow reusable containers, which can be returned to any partner location. RECUP's products are designed to be fully recyclable and sustainably manufactured. The system also integrates with food delivery apps, allowing users to order in RECUP and REBOWL containers. RECUP's mission focuses on raising awareness of packaging waste and promoting sustainable consumer behavior, positioning itself as a leading solution in the gastronomy sector.
