## About Aerostrovilos Energy

Aerostrovilos Energy is a cleantech startup based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, founded in 2017.

The company specializes in developing and manufacturing India's first indigenous micro gas turbines (MGT) for commercial applications, focusing on power generation and heavy-duty long-haul trucking. Their mission is to electrify heavy-duty trucks, which significantly contribute to road transport pollution, by utilizing gas turbine generator technology to reduce emissions. The company designs fuel-flexible, oil-free micro gas turbines that can operate on various fuels, including hydrogen, biogas, and pyro oil. Their primary product line includes a 120kW range for heavy-duty commercial vehicles, with plans to expand offerings from 20kW to 200kW. Aerostrovilos Energy also aims to provide up to 1 MW capacity for distributed power generation and is developing compact generators for electric vehicles to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The company has secured over $521K in funding and is working towards launching a minimum viable product in the genset segment by early 2025.
