You see who actually wrote cheques like yours, with the rounds behind each one, not who says they might. What does "deploying now" mean? We saw them write a cheque in the last twelve months. It comes from rounds they joined, not from what their website says. Is it only venture capital? No. It covers VCs, private equity, family offices, corporate venture arms, accelerators and funds of funds, and the individuals who invest, angels included. How do you know who led a round? From the round itself: when the announcement or filing names a lead investor, the record marks it, with the source. Is it free? Searching, filtering and saving lists is free with an account, which is just your email. Full records and exports come with a paid plan. Something about an investor is wrong. Can it be fixed? Yes.
