# TreeCard's *pitch deck*

The deck, and the round we watched TreeCard raise afterwards, with the investors each report named.

Treecard is a London-based fintech startup founded in late 2020. It offers the world’s first wooden debit card, designed to promote sustainable financial choices. With every $60 spent, users contribute to planting a tree, as 80% of the company's profits from interchange fees are directed to reforestation projects through its partnership with Ecosia. The core product is a free, NFC-enabled wooden debit card made from FSC-certified British cherry wood, featuring a contactless chip made from recycled plastic. The Treecard app allows users to track their spending, manage transactions, and monitor their environmental impact, including the number of trees planted. Treecard aims to expand its offerings to include a full suite of green financial services, targeting eco-conscious and tech-savvy consumers. The company has already facilitated the planting of over 200,000 trees and has set a long-term goal of planting 1 billion trees by 2026.
